On Friday, March 17, 2017 look what arrived in the mailbox! Maverick went to St George, UT for the weekend so the family planned an “opening party” for Sunday, March 17th. We had 2 maps-one for the United States and the other was a world map. There were plenty of post-it notes for people to write down their guess where he would be going and the crowd started rolling in! Maverick told Mom “I am okay with wherever I go but I have a feeling I’m going to Topeka, Kansas”.
Nope.
Santiago, Chile South, Spanish speaking!!!! Maverick is to report to the Santiago, Chile MTC on the 5th of July 2017. Tears were shed, hugs were given, and excitement all around! Papa Gordon and Papa Minor BOTH guessed the location.
**Later the MTC was changed to the Mexico MTC, same date, due to overcrowding.
